Barbara Robertson

Barbara Robertson delivers corporate training which focuses on a person’s motivation to develop long term positive change.

Our training programs offer an empathetic approach underpinned by The Alexander Technique, a technique which provides a way to undo fixed, often unconscious, habitual responses. Employees are taught how to move from old habits to become more confident, credible and productive.

Clients include Blake Dawson, Baker & McKenzie, Stryker Australia, Launceston City Council and Patrick Terminals, Port Botany.

Barbara's philosophy puts people first: she works constructively with your team using encouragement and individual feedback to help them grow. To take this learning from the classroom to the workplace, Barbara shows each participant how they can help one another maintain the positive changes they've made.

Corporate Training Sydney

With a track record of 12 years delivering corporate training, Barbara has a Bachelor of Arts, Diploma of Teaching and is a member of the Australian Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique.

Barbara uses hands on techniques and group participation to enable participants to develop an awareness of tension in their breathing, movement and body, and provides them with techniques to alleviate this tension at work.

Training is delivered in a variety of settings from improving manual handling in the factory or warehouse context, to providing ergonomic and presentation training to top-tier Iaw firms and government departments.

Training programs

Presentation Skills Training - releases the unique, conversational voice from a place of presence to an honest connection with the audience.
Ergonomic Training - focuses on removing the tension that lowers productivity, causes fatigue, pain, sick days, insurance claims and poor interpersonal skills.
Manual Handling Training - teaches safety and co-ordination by moving as the muscular-skeletal system is designed.
Stress Management Training - promotes restraint, training how “not to do” so that stress spirals are not taken on. Focusing on the “how” and “now” to create work-life balance.
